Pakistan plans to meet with IMF

IMF DG AFP Pakistan NewsISLAMABAD: Pakistan plans to meet with International Monetary Fund (IMF) officials on Nov. 13 to continue talks for the possible release of the sixth tranche of an emergency $11 billion loan, the Finance Ministry said on Friday.

The Finance Ministry said it would meet with the IMF on Nov. 13 to continue “constructive” discussions on the possible release of the approximate $1.13  billion tranche.

The statement came after two days of talks between Pakistan and the IMF. -Reuters
