LAHORE: Retired Supreme Court Justice Deedar Hussain Shah’s appointment as Chairman of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has been challenged.
The appointment was challenged by Barrister Javed Iqbal Jaffery.
The petitioner argued that the appointment of Deedar Hussain Shah was not made on the basis of merit rather to protect personal interests.
The petitioner claimed that the opposition was not taken into confidence and requested that the appointment made on political ground be immediately revoked .
