COAS orders army to rescue flood-hit on war-footing

Pakistan, Rawalpindi News : Pakistan Army Chief told his commanders to push the flood relief operation on war footing on Monday, E Pakistan News Reported.

“Employ all the resources and leave no stone unturned to save the casualties,” the army chief said directing the officers to remain vigilant during  his visit to flood-devastated Layya where military is busy rescuing the flood affecteed.

According to Director General, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Asim Saleem Bajwa’s twitter message, the COAS expressed the deepest regret over devastation and loss of life as well as property.

During the visit the COAS also met TDPs from North Waziristan and received kudos for successful operations and for purging the territory of militancy.
