Musharraf urges ‘institutions’ to rescue nation

Pakistan, Islamabad News : Encouraging the ‘institutions’ to ‘rescue’ the nation before long , former president of Pakistan Gen (Retd) Pervez Musharraf Saturday once again emphasized on the need of a third political power to drive the country out of the die-hard desperate straits.

“The rise of this political force would be the fall of all those who have been letting the nation down for like ages,” the ex chief of the army staff said while tele-addressing a public gathering in Gilgit Baltistan.

Musharraf was referring to the top two political parties Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) that have always been alleged to be ‘comrades in corruption.’

These two political powers have been for decades taking turns in power and have proved themselves criminally incompetent time and again.

During the his speech, the erstwhile strongman, exhorted his followers in GB and Chitral to vote for his political party, All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), and reject all the treacherous rabble-rousers, who had never kept their promises after coming to power .

“After listening to my heart that bleeds for my country, I returned home in 2013 only to do my bit to fill up this gaping void of leadership to some measure, but those who do not want to see Pakistan progressing, framed me in fabricated cases,” the AMPL leader said adding,” This is how they kept me out of the election.”
