Pakistan, Lahore News : Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Friday said the political, religious, and military leadership was on the same page in the war against terrorism.
“The country would be rid of the menace of terrorism with the force of unity and mutual consultation,” he said while talking to lawmakers from various districts here.
Shahbaz sounded out that Pakistanis had rendered innumerable sacrifices in the war against terrorism and the blood of the martyrs would not go to waste, adding the country would be made a haven of peace through eradication of terrorism.
The chief minister added that Pakistan was facing an extraordinary situation and needed extraordinary measures to cope with the problem of terrorism.
He said the national action plan was a consensus formula for purging the country of terrorism and its implementation would eliminate this menace on permanent basis. (APP)
