Pakistan News : The deadliest ever militant attack of Pakistan at an army-run school in Peshawar was planned in Afghanistan, according to investigators.
Sources said the militants plotted the attack initially in Afghanistan and later got training in Bara area in Pakistan’s lawless tribal region. Sources said five militants groups have been found involved in carrying out the attack which left 141 people including 132 children dead in worst attack of Pakistan’s history.
The attack bought international condemnation as well as promises of a decisive crackdown on militants from political and military leaders of the country.
According to sources, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, during his urgent trip to Kabul, shared ‘essential intelligence’ with Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani who assured that Afghan soil would not be used for attacks against Pakistan.
