Pakistan News, Updates : Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is observing the day of mourning today over yesterday’s killing of workers in Faisalabad.
The funeral prayers for the eternal peace of the slain activist will be offered in different cities. Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan havef also pledged their support for today’s mourning.
Meantime, PTI is all geared up to get its protest off the ground in Faisalabad following the killing of its workers. The PTI will also hit the roads to protest across the country. The funeral prayer will be offered in absentia in different cities.
The PTI announced to take out a rally from Peshawar Press Club and lay siege to Governor House today. Meantime, PTI Sindh President Nadir Akmal Leghari also planned a protest demonstration in Karachi’s Regal Chowk today.
Contrarily, the capital police readied a security plan, according to which, at least 1500 personnel of police force have been deployed to stand guard on different locations around the capital in order to divert today’s potentially volatile situation from turning into flashpoint.
