Pak Army chief appreciates rescue for Flood victims

Pakistan News : Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif visited flood-hit Gujranwala and Mandi Bahaduin districts of Punjab Tuesday.

According to the press release issued by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS was briefed by the local military commanders about the ongoing rescue and relief efforts by the Army.

COAS greatly appreciated tireless efforts of the field formations and Army Aviation, who are working round the clock and at full capacity to provide relief to the affected people.

He directed the commanders to remain proactive, employ all available resources for the rescue and relief, and pledged that army will leave no stone unturned to help their brethren affected by the flood.
