Pakistan News : Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday held a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel to discuss bilateral ties on the sidelines of the Nuclear Security Summit.
Both the leaders agreed to explore ways and means to enhance cooperation between the two countries in different areas especially in economy and energy sectors.
Talking to media after the meeting, the prime minister said that his meeting with the German chancellor was very productive.
He said regional security situation in relation with establishing peace in Afghanistan was also discussed.
PM Sharif said that he personally thanked Merkel for Germany’s assistance to Pakistan in securing GSP plus status from the European Union.
