Government to challenge Sethi’s suspension in SC

PCB interim chairman suspended

Pakistan, Islamabad News : Federal Government has decided to challenge the suspension of Pakistan Cricket Board Interim Chairman Najam Sethi in Supreme Court.

The suspended acting chairman of the PCB, Najam Sethi, has said that an administrative vaccum has been created at PCB in the absence of a chairman.

“There is no selection committee nor a bowling coach and who would select the T20 team for upcoming tournament as 79 PCB officials’ contracts have ended in October,” he said.

“Decision of the court eliminated a short series between Pakistan and South Africa and that caused loss of 180 million rupees to the PCB,” he added.

Not only this has happened in the PCB, the administrative seats of Intikhab Alam, Wasim Bari, and Haroon Rasheed have also turned vacant in the board.
