Crackdown on corrupt officers likely to start in KPK

Pakistan, KPK News : Police chief of KPK told that corrupt police officers liklely to out of the department after the holy month of Muharram on Monday, E Pakistan News Reported.

Inspector General of Police Nasir Durrani expressed his concerns about police capacity to deal with the challenge of terrorism.

IG KPK told “Corrupt officers will be dismissed in three phases after Muharram,”

“There will be no political interference in police. And those found guilty of canvassing will be fired from their jobs,”

The IGP noted that four policemen who embraced martyrdom in Sunday’s shooting had not put on bullet proof jackets and were standing outside protective sandbags.
