President Mamnoon visit Mazar-e-Quaid & want to restore peace

Pakistan, Karachi News : President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi and said we will try to bring peace again in Karachi.

Accompanied by Sindh Governor Dr. Ishratul Ebad and Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, the president visited the Mazar-e-Quaid this morning, offered fateha and laid floral wreath at the grave of found of Pakistan during his first visit to the mausoleum since assuming the office in September this year.

Mamnoon Hussain vowed that he would play his due role for the improvement of law and order situation in Karachi, the hub of Pakistan’s economy plagued by political and ethnic violence, gang war and criminal activities.

President also said that “The PML-N government is striving to improve the overall economic conditions of Pakistan and I hope that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar’s measures would help stabilize the rupee against dollar…but it will take some time,”

He vowed that electricity rates would be reduced gradually in next three to four years.

“India is heading towards elections and the opposition BJP is making propaganda that Indian government is compromising on their national security in talks with Pakistan. So these are the election tactics and the border tension is likely to deescalate after Indian polls.”
