Pakistan News : The family of Shahzeb, the teenager son of a police officer murdered in Karachi’s posh area last year, has forgiven all four accused in the case who have been awarded life imprisonment by Anti-Terrorism Court in June this year.
Sources said that heirs of Shahzeb have submitted to Sindh High Court an application for agreement with the accused, stating that both the parties have reached an out-of-court settlement under which the culprits have been pardoned ‘fee sabeel Allah’ (in/for Allah’s cause/way).
The victim’s family claimed that they have received no blood-money.
In June this year, an anti-terrorism court had awarded death sentence to Shahrukh Jatoi, the central accused in Shahzeb murder case, and his accomplice Siraj Talpur.
Shahzeb, the only son of DSP Orangzeb, was shot dead in December last year in Defence area of Karachi over a petty dispute.
