Rain brings flood in different areas of Pakistan

Pakistan News : Rangers, Pakistan Navy, Army is working to providing basic things to the people of Karachi’s Gadap Town, Sadi Town, Safoora, Amroha Society and other areas inundated in Sunday’s torrential rains.

Due to the rains in Karachi people were facing severe hardships in the affected areas where emergency relief camps were set-up.

People were draining out rainwater from their houses on self-help basis, with no electricity in their areas since Saturday.

Pak army personnel were also busy in relief and rescue activities using heavy machineries to drain out the water.

ISPR says army troops have rescued over three hundred trapped persons in the rain hit areas of Karachi and provided urgent rations support to them.

Officials said Punjab government has dispatched ninety four trucks carrying essential commodities to the flood affected areas of Rajanpur and D.G. Khan.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa‚ the Provincial Disaster Management Authority has taken measures to control the situation and compensate the affected people.

It has dispatched consignments of relief goods containing tents‚ blankets and big cans of clean drinking water to the flood-hit areas of Chitral‚ Tank and Dera Ismail Khan.
