Pakistan News : The Awami National Party (ANP) announced Sunday that it would submit an adjournment motion in the Senate against Imran Khan, chairmen of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for chairing a meeting of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials.
In a statement, ANP spokesperson Zahid Khan said that the adjournment motion would be submitted against Imran for calling a meeting of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) provincial secretaries on Friday.
“It was unconstitutional for a party chief to summon such a meeting. PTI Chairman was running the province like a cricket team,” he said.
“If Imran Khan wanted to manage the affairs of the province, he should have contested the elections from a provincial assembly seat and opted to become the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” said Zahid, adding that PTI chairman was using the K-P Assembly like a “rubber stamp”.
