People are starving and have found refuge in a place surrounded by high water. According to some sources, the helicopters flew Gandakha but not landing to help those in urgent need insulated food, drinking water and medicines.
They said more than 50 villages have been flooded since Gandakha and 300 people had been rescued. Flood water is still coming Saifullah Magsi canal, and left to flow downstream. Gandakha kept in isolation from the rest of Jaffarabad for 15 days.
Five children died of gastroenteritis in Jhal Magsi Kalat and a man on Wednesday. Hundreds of people, including children and women, who suffer from gastrointestinal diseases transmitted by water and were admitted to different hospitals in Balochistan.
