Punjab 32,000 army men will perform election duty


Pakistan News : ISPR reports cleared that about 300,000 security personnel including 32,000 army men will perform election duties in Punjab during the elections 2013, E Pakistan News Reported.

Briefing the media after the meeting, DG ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said army wants peaceful elections and for that 32,000 army personnel will perform election duty in Punjab. All the personnel have reached their destinies, he added.

The DG further said army officials had also held meetings with stakeholders in Sindh and Balochistan. No one should have any doubt about holding of the elections, he maintained.
