Caretaker government likely to impose tax on cell phones

Sale tax on mobile phones

Pakistan News – Caretaker Government is likely to impose the price tax of Rs. 500 to 1000 price tax on mobile phones, E Pakistan News Reported.

Electronic Dealers Association has refused to accept this new sale tax on mobile phones and decided to launch protest against it.

The cell phone users will have to pay Rs. 500 on normal phone and Rs. 1,000 per piece extra as sales tax, being planned by the current interim regime.
