Pakistan News – 15-year old Pakistani girl Malala Yousufzai, who was shot by the Taliban in Pakistan, will have a life story published on her later this year, in a deal reported to be worth around £2m, The Guardian said in a report published on Wednesday.
The book “I am Malala” is scheduled for publication in autumn and will document the story of Malala Yousufzai who was shot by Pakistani Talibans following her increased advocacy for women’s education in the Swat Valley region in Pakistan.
Malala has now relocated to England where she is attending a school in Birmingham.
In a statement, Malala said, “I hope this book will reach people around the world, so they realise how difficult it is for some children to get access to education.”
The book will be published by Weidenfeld & Nicholson in the UK and Commonwealth and by Little Brown in the rest of the world. Agencies
