Pakistan, Karachi News – Paramilitary forces and the police were equally responsible for the Karachi unrest said Apex court bench today , E Pakistan News Reported.
The remarks come as a three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry continues to hear the Abbas Town blast suo motu case at its Karachi registry.
The bench also ordered the immediate suspension of SSP Rao Anwar and observed how a police officer who himself travelled in an armoured personnel carrier (APC) could protect the citizens.
