Pakistan, Karachi News : Sources added that verifications of the voters lists in Karachi has been ended today (Monday).
Acting on a Supreme Court’s order, Sindh Election Commission was to complete the verification of voters’ lists by 1st February. But the process could not complete as per the initial schedule due to law and order issues.
The commission later extended the deadline by 10 days.
According to the provincial commission, verification of voters could not be undertaken in some areas due to security fears. Residents and stakeholders of these areas have been advised to contact their respective district high commission.
