Pakistan, Karachi Updates : ECP has started the voters verification process across the Karachi by making door-to-door verifications with the high security from Pakistan army on Thursday.
ECP schedule shows that , the process will complete in March and 15,000 ECP workers would take part in the drive. The voter verification would be carried out between Jan 15th and Feb 1.
As many as 6.8 million voters would be verified in Karachi during the exercise. In the first phase, the ECP would verify house count in the city.
All the equipment and necessary forms have been shifted to the offices of the Assistant Registration Officers.
