Pakistan News : Supreme Court of Pakistan has discharged the Contempt case against MQM Chief Altaf Hussain on Monday.
Earlier during proceedings, MQM lawyer Farogh Naseem had tendered the unconditional apology on behalf of Altaf Hussain.
In the apology, Altaf said he had respected the judiciary his entire life and wanted to withdraw the remarks he had made.
The Supreme Court had issued a contempt of court notice to Altaf Hussain on December 14 stating that he had used objectionable language against the judiciary while addressing a public gathering.
