Sc orders to arrest the Former OGRA Chairman

Pakistan, Islamabad News : According to the latest reports The Supreme Court (SC) issued orders to take the help of Interpol to arrest OGRA former chairman Tauqeer Sadiq.

The court also ordered to get permanent arrest warrants of the former OGRA chairman from Interpol.

The SC resumed hearing the scam case involving its former chairman Tauqeer Sadiq today. The court also asked the NAB to cooperate with FIA.

The court summoned a detailed report in a week’s time on how the high profile fugitive managed to get two passports, and directed the acting IG Punjab to submit a report regarding the arrest of Sadiq in one week.

The report should explain who helped Sadiq flee the country.

In a report, submitted by Punjab police, it was said that Sadiq reached at Dhaka on December 26th and then he moved to Sharjah.

The court rejected motorway police’s report regarding Sadiq’s arrest.

On Dec 28th, The Inspector General of Punjab police, Haji Habib-ur-Rehman has said that primarily it is responsibility of NAB to arrest former Chairman OGRA Tauqir Sadiq but police will follow Supreme Court orders fully.

The Punjab IGP said while talking to media after address at Faisalabad Police Lines this day that different teams have been sent to various cities of Pakistan and abroad for arrest of Tauqir Sadiq.
