Pakistan, Islamabad News: Security arrangements for upcoming elections discussed in a meeting of the Election Commission of Pakistan under the chairmanship of CEC Fakruddin G Ibrahim.
Secretary Election Commission, provincial members, secretary interior, secretary defence, secretary education, provincial chief secretaries and senior police officials are participating in the meeting.
Chief CEC said that maintaining law and order in the next general elections is the only problem. In this regard, he asked security agencies to submit their proposals.
CEC Ibrahim also proposed that the one army jawan should remain posted at every polling station until the final result is announced.
