Pakistan News : According to the latest reports old system of magistracy has been announced in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Malakand division and Provincially Administered Tribal Areas (Pata).
Sources added that, deputy commissioners will take over the charge of their offices from today in 25 districts of the province. Also, the Assistant Commissioner, Additional Assistant Commissioner will also begin functioning under the new system.
It should be mentioned here that the provincial government, during the last week of December, promulgated Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Local Government Act 2012 with effect from January 1, 2013.
