Pakistan, Islamabad News : Pakistan International Airline Chairman has disclosed that three pilots of the airline flying Boeing 777 planes had fake degrees.
Briefing to a NA Standing Committee, the chairman who is also Secretary Defence, revealed that degrees of other airline staff are now being scrutinized. However, the pilots have been fired.
The NA body was also informed by the PIA chief that the national flag carrier is using 18 to 26 years old planes, and 10 out of 38 planes are ground due to various reasons. The airline suffered losses of 410 million rupees during hajj operation, he added.
