8th Muharram Procession likely to taken out across Country

Pakistan News / Karachi Updates > The main procession of 8th Muharram in the city will be taken out from Nishtar Park after Jumma prayers which will culminate at Hussainia Iranian Imam Bargah, Kharadar after passing through Numaish, Reagal Chowk, M. A. Jinnah Road, Jamia Cloth Mrket, Light House, City Court and Pan Mandi.

 

In Islamabad, the main 8th Muharram procession will be taken out from G-6 at 3:00pm. The procession will pass through its traditional route and culminated at the G-6 Imam Bargah after Maghrib prayers. Another procession will start after Jumma prayes from G-9 Peshawar More and culminate at the same place after passing through its route before Maghrib prayers.

 

In Lahore, several mourning processions of 8th Muharram being taken out today and will culminate at different places after passing through their traditional routes. Tight security arrangements have been made for the security of mourners and all the participants being thoroughly checked before entering the processions.

 

At least nine processions will be taken out in Hyderabad. The main procession will be taken out from imam Bargah Buturab which will culminate at the same place after passing through its traditional route.
