Rawalpindi Imam Bargah Blast, 10 dead Several Injured

Pakistan News / Rawalpindi Blast News > A blast heard at Imam Bargah Rawalpindi Misrial Road due to which ten people dead and several injured on Wednesday Night, E Pakistan News reported.


Sources told that the blast took place in the Parking area of Imambargah while after the blast Rescue teams reached and shifted the people to the hospitals for medical treatments.


Due to area being heavily populated, rescue workers were reported to be having difficulties.


High Alerts put on the Misrial Road of Rawalpindi where the blast heard later a blast was also reported in Karachi today. Electricity of the area has gone and Emergency has been ordered at all the hospitals.


Police and other Agencies officials reached on the area and took the area in custody for the further investigations.


Participants of the mourning procession have refused to leave the area, chanting slogans against the government. Blast explode when Muharram Procession was on the way in the area of Dhok Saidaan area of Rawalpindi.


Eyewitness told that they were not expecting this type of poor security conditions during the Muharram processions in Rawalpindi. Rawalpindi is the main and major city of Pakistan.


Medical officers told that death toll in Rawalpindi Imambargah blast may be raised from ten to onward because some injured are in critical situations.


Government is under pressure to control the situations of country as bomb blasts are on their ways. Today first 2 blast reported in Karachi due to which 2 was killed and 11 injured, Now in Rawalpindi this was a big blast which claims 10 lives and 25 above people injured seriously at Misrial Road Imam Bargah.


Government officials, President Asif Ali Zardari,  PM Raja Ashraf & Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif strongly condemn the blast and ordered the strict actions to investigate the Rawalpindi Imam Bargah blast.


In an official statement the prime minister said that the country was united and would never submit to terrorism.

Sources told that the death toll in Rawalpindi Imambargah blast raised to 23 and further it me be increased after the medical reports.
