World News – At least seven members of the same family, including four children, were among nine people killed when an Israeli missile struck a family home in Gaza City, the health ministry said.
Among the dead were a man, two women and four children, all of whom were from the al-Dallu family, said spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra.
A 70-year-old woman, also believed to be from the same family, and a 22-year-old man were also killed, he said.
At least 20 people were injured in the strike, which flattened the three-storey building in Gaza City’s Nasser neighbourhood.
Meanwhile, three more people were killed in two separate raids on Sunday, medics said, shortly after nine people died when an Israeli missile hit a family home in Gaza City.
The latest raids killed one man in the Shejaiya district in eastern Gaza City, and two more in the northern town of Jabaliya, the Hamas-run ambulance service said.
Sunday’s attacks raise the overall toll of Palestinians killed to 65 in nearly 100 hours of relentless Israeli air strikes.
More than 600 people have been injured in the Israeli bombing campaign, which began on Wednesday afternoon. AFP
