Pakistan News – President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari is going to address the KP on Monday and would be the first President, who would be addressing a provincial assembly session on the invitation CM, E Pakistan News reported.
KP assembly session has been scheduled at 10.00 A.M. in the morning tomorrow, while the President will address at 2.00 P.M. in the afternoon.
Speaker Karamatullah Chagharmati told that he had invited President Zardari during Saarc Conference in Islamabad to address the assembly and all is set for this special session of the assembly.
“The president’s visit and address to the legislators will be a great honour for the assembly and people of the province,” he said which he believed was happening first time in the national history.
Under the assembly rules of business, the governor can address special session. However, Mr Chagharmati said speaker had powers to relax rules and invite head of the state or any high profile dignitary to address the special session of the provincial assembly.
