Why the Motorcycling Banned? Asked Senator Rabbani

Pakistan News / Islamabad News > While talking about the law and order situtions about Karachi, Senator Raza Rabbani asked that why the motorcycle ridding was banned in Karachi, Quetta on Friday, E Pakistan News reported.

Motorcycling Banned in Pakistan
‘The ban was imposed in view of threats of terrorism in the two cities,’ replied Malik adding there are reports regarding potential terrorist activities during Moharramul Haram and motorbikes are used in the assaults on public gatherings, processions and rallies in Karachi.

Hence, keeping in view the reports of sensitive agencies, the decision was made to impose the ban, he added asserting the ban was merely meant to afford protection to the citizens of Karachi and Quetta.

Meantime, the members of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) protested over the killings of students in Karachi.
