Ejaz Ahmed indicted in Cheque-bounce Case

Pakistan News – According to the latest updates Former Pakistani Test Cricketer  Ijaz Ahmed was indicted by a local court in a cheque rebound case on Monday.

Ahmed, who played 60 Tests and 250 one-day internationals (ODIs) for Pakistan from 1986 to 2001, was facing charges of giving a bogus bank cheque of Rs10 million to a man named Shaukat Ali in a business deal.

The cheque was later bounced, prompting Ali to file a police complaint against the former cricketer. He was subsequently arrested on 25 March 2009 before being released on bail after three weeks.
