Karachi Factory Fire – Three days Mourning Announced by the MQM

Karachi Garment Factory Fire

While the death toll due to the fire in Karachi Garment Factory raised to 289 which is too much and President Asif Ali Zardari also expressed the grief and sorrow of this loss.

In the latest statement, MQM political leaders announced the mourning and all political activities will be suspended in Karachi from 12 to 15th of September.

Earlier, MQM chief Altaf Hussain said Baldia Town factory mishap is a tragedy of the entire nation, not of Karachi alone.

While MQM Chief also expressed the grief and also demanded a committee comprising experts be formed to take stock of the arrangements at all factories.

The garment factory located on Hub River Road in Baldia Town area of the city, was fully gutted by a fire.
