RSSPakistan News / Contempt Case > Federal Minister for Law Dr. Farooq H, Naek told that the Pakistan People Party will Challenged the Supreme Court verdict in contempt of court case in which the court declared the law void on August 3.
While speaking to the news channel Naek told that “We will file review petition against the decision of the apex court on the contempt of court law,”
He said the PPP believes in the rule of law, and independence of judiciary, adding that there should not be any confrontation between the state’s institutions.
Naek said that democratic system should not be derailed in the country. Replying to a question he said that the president enjoys immunity according to the national and international laws.
The minister seemed hopeful when he said that the country and the government will get speedy progress in days to come.
