PM Said There Will be No Compromise on National Security

Latest Pakistan News > Islamabad News – Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has warned America that Pakistan’s sovereignty will never be compromised.

 PM Said There Will be No Compromise on National Security

While talking to the Joint Session of Parliament after the presentation of draft PCNS recommendations regarding its reservations over the resumption of Nato supplies.


He told that for the first time ever matters of national security and foreign affairs have been debated in the Parliament, which was an achievement of this democratic government.


Further he said that “It’s has been proven time and again that we stand united when it comes to national interests”

PM Gilani also stated that “ We redsignalled Nato supplies, had US air force vacate Shamsi Airbase, after Salala attack, in which scores of Pakistani troops lost lives to Nato helicopter gunships”,


He told that it was that tragic incident which prompted them to call a Cabinet’s Defence Committee meeting.


Gilani reiterated that Pakistan would give serious second thoughts to its future terms of engagement with Nato, ISAF, and the US, adding there would be no compromise on the sovereignty and integrity of the country.
