PM not to face disqualification; even SC charge guilty

Pakistan News/Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s advocate in contempt of court case; Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan stated confidently in a private Tv interview that PM Gilani will not likely to face disqualification; even Supreme Court (SC) find guilty against him, EPakistanNews.com reported on Friday 17, 2012.

 PM not to face disqualification; even SC charge guilty

Mr. Aitzaz Ahsan added that PM Gilani will not ask for pardon from President if he is offendered in the contempt of court case.

“Yusuf Raza Gilani, being the PM of Pakistan, will not face disqualification; even if he is convicted by Supreme Court.

Prime Minister’s qualification to hold his office will rest with the Speaker National Assembly (NA); he directed that the money cannot be recovered from Swiss banks whether or not the government writes a letter to Swiss authorities for its retrieval.
