Latest Pakistan News / Islamabad Justice Nasirul Mulk headed a SC seven-member bench which is currently hearing the contempt case against PM Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday, E Pakistan News reported.
Defence Counsel barrister Aitzaz Ahsan contended that the Prime Minister acted on the advice of ministry in accordance with rules of business.
Upon which, Justice Nasirul Mulk remarked that on one hand there is advice and on the another there are clear court orders.
The PM Gilani’s counsel, Aitezaz Ahsan is giving arguments before the court. The former Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader has been directed to complete his arguments in the preliminary hearing by tea break.
Contempt Case decision will be declared after half hour according to the reports by the Supreme Court.
It is to be said result of this case will be announced at 1:00 pm today.
