PM Gilani visit to Sargodha

Pakistan News/Sargodha– Prime Minister of Pakistan Yousaf Raza Gillani visits the sargodha on Saturday, E Pakistan News reported.

On his visit security is very high and there are also many small groups of procession of PPP are also seen, on addressing to the big gathering Gillani said that Pakistan People Party not came from the back door.

He also said that every dictator tried to abolish PPP and coalition partners are our strength and Gilani also talk about the current issues & problems which are people facing in the country.

APP ADS: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Saturday said the government is committed to provide basic needs of life to the people at their door steps and utilizing all the available resources for the improvement of the masses who are the real strengthen in the democratic process.

Addressing a big public meeting here after inaugurating and laying foundation stones of a number of development projects, the Prime Minister said Pakistan Peoples Party being an ideological party has the roots in the masses and derive its strength from them.He said Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto gave respect, honour and dignity to the masses.

He said only the power of masses could ensure any political party to win the elections.

“We are the committed persons and will remain with you even today and in future also,” said the Prime Minister.
Gilani said every party needs workers but the workers of PPP are priceless who remained committed with Zulfikar Ali Bhutto who sacrificed his life for the masses.
The Prime Minister said he came here to fulfil the promise of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto as she announced that she will be here as Prime Minister therefore, he is here as her representative.
He said Sargodha is a city of ‘Shaheens’ and it has the honour to receive a number of awards for its courage and devotion.
The Prime Minister appreciated the workers of PPP in the city and said they are also “Shaheens” those supported the party in all difficult circumstances following the vision of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.
Gilani said those who did not see Bhutto, also carrying forward the message of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. He said Nusrat Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto also faced difficulties but did not stopped the mission of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
He said despite all the efforts of all the dictators to finish PPP, the party is still intact and strong with the support and strengt of the workers and masses.
The Prime Minister thanked the people for ensuring their support to the PPP.
Regarding formation of new political parties, and talking of revolutions, the Prime Minister said revolution is only possible with the support of masses adding that these new entrants in politics did  not have the support from people of Pakistan.
He said some parties came to power through crutches but they washed away because these parties did not have roots in the masses but the PPP came to power, with the support of the masses, with the vision of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto that guided the party to work with other parties through reconciliation.
The Prime Minister said except the PPP all other parties remained in conflict with each other.
He said all the major political parties like PML-Q, ANP, MQM and other leading political players are cooperating with PPP.  “It is our power that we are going along with all the parties through reconciliation,” he added.
The Prime Minister said other political parties are misguiding the masses.He said the new political parties did not have any concrete programme and manifesto.
Gilani said a number of projects have been inaugurated today by him in Sargodha. He said these are very big and important projects and play an important role in the improvement of living standard of the people of the area.
He also assured the local representatives that their demands, mentioned in their speeches and welcome address would also be fulfilled and all the development projects would be completed in time.
Referring to the presence of a large number of women in the public meeting, the Prime Minister said Baitul Maal has been directed to give the sewing machines to deserving women to start their honourable living.
He directed to the Baitul Maal for free treatment to a handicap girl present on the stage. He also directed the Baitul Maal for treatment of another person.
The Prime Minister said Rs. 3.5 billion projects have been completed in Sargodha in electricity and gas by the present government.
He sid 1123 villages have been provided electricity and over one lakh population will get benefit from it. He said 115 gas projects have been completed that will provide benefit to over 330,000 population of the area.
The Prime Minister announced to upgrade the Medical College to a Teaching Hospital being constructed in Sargodha.
He also announced to open regional offices of Sui Gas and Income Tax departments.
He also announced to start training to the unemployed youth by NAVTEC and added that Rs. 25 crore has been allocated for this project.
The Prime Minister said each union council will have an IT centre which will start functioning soon. He said government has abolished export duty on kinno export for Indonesia to enhance the export of kinno from Sargodha.
He also announced to accept the demands to provide water supply to different union council of the area.
He said he did not came here for votes as there is no election in the area but he was here to fulfil his promises made with the people to provide them basic needs of life.
The Prime Minister said when there will be elections in 2013, he would come to them and get the vote on the basis of the performance.
He said he has been personally monitoring the progress on the development projects underway from Karachi to Khyber and fully awarded about the requirements of the masses and making sincere efforts to ensure the provision of these facilities.
The Prime Minister said the government had also announced reduction in duty on tractors so that the price of the tractors could be reduced for the benefit of farmers.
The public meeting was also addressed by Qamar ul Zaman Kaira, Nazar Muhammad Gondal, Safdar Waraich, Chaudhry Nadeem Afzal Chan and Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi MNA.
