The product, universities are bringing today into the market is not much appetizing for the consumers. The student, despite of being skillful, cannot make its way out into the industry easily.
The complex structure of recruitment, especially the experience requirement and hesitation to deploy the technological development experimented by university students, suspecting the reliability and efficiency of the item (a software or some engineering or mechanical device or even formulas).
Another problem is that the industry needs none or only a few of the large number of students, the universities are generating, the reason being machines incorporated ( replaced by humans), or shortage of new industries.
Empower students in universities, at graduate and post graduate level, to work with their fellows, in supervision of the universities, so that they can work independently later (without university assistance). Funds would be needed by the universities for this purpose.
Universities should focus on the practicality of what they teach.
Training institutes be established for students, where students can get experience e.g. NIP.
Seminars should be arranged, by students, or universities, or some forum be provided by the government, where universities’ and organizations’ members are called and students elaborate their invention and illustrate its effectiveness.
Students should be motivated to take the initiative of launching new businesses, instead of searching for jobs for years.
