Azam Swati joins Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)
Islamabad: Former senator Muhammad Azam Khan Swati, who recently resigned from the Senate and membership of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F), on Saturday joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Addressing a news conference here, he announced to join PTI and expressed the resolve to work hard for promotion of the party in every nook and corner of the country.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan and Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Quershi were also present on the occasion. Imran Khan welcomed Azam Swati in the party-fold and said that PTI is commited to work for welfare of the commonman.
Highlighting the importance of Karachi, Imran Khan said that the city is a hub of business activities and the party is giving a special attention to muster support of its people.
