Police rescued 50 chained boys from Seminary Karachi

Karachi News: Gadap police raid mid night and recovered around 50 boys chained in a seminary of Sohrab Goth, Karachi on Monday, E Pakistan News reported.

According to police officials they conduct a raid on midnight of Monday – Tuesday and found more then 50 children chained in a Seminary of Karachi.

Mostly children were belonging to Karachi City and few are belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.


Police officials give more details that all recovered boys have under age of 40 years; they were chained in Jamia Masjid Zikriya Kondali.


The senior police official declared that all recovered boys were drug addicts and the seminary’s administration was running a detoxification unit. A signboard at the seminary said that drug addicts were treated there.


Police conduct raid after a television report and recovered all and took them in custody for further development.
