Ra-One unable to break bodyguard record

Shah Rukh Khan has a large number of expectations with his latest movie Ra-One that was released on October 26, 2011.


An Indian Pundits predicted that Ra-One break all the previously records at first day of its release but result is shown but Ra-one is not touch the nearby of Salman Khan’s Movie Bodyguard.


Bodyguard collected at first day at least Rs. 21 Crore at his first day of released but on the other hand, if we talk about Ra-One; so it collected Rs. 15 Crore at the first day of its released.


At the same time as Bodyguard had opened in 2,800 Cinema screens across India and the first-day possession ranged between 85 per cent and 100 per cent, Ra-One opened in near about 3200 Cinema screens with the first day occupancy ranging between 75 per cent and 80 per cent.

To make things worse, the movie received a mixed response from the critics as well as the initial audience that can sometimes be crucial in driving the collection.


Many from the audience felt that Shah Rukh did not live up to the buildup that he created.
