Latest News/Washington: Hillary Clinton will travel next week to London and Istanbul next week where she will be taking part in conferences on cyberspace and Afghanistan, it was announced here Thursday.
State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in a statement that Clinton will travel to London, UK, on November 1 to deliver “a keynote speech at the London Conference on Cyberspace,” which is hosted by the UK Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, William Hague.
She added that while in London, Clinton will also meet with Hague to review a range of issues on our shared global agenda.
Nuland indicated that Clinton will then travel to Istanbul, Turkey, on November 2, to participate in the “Istanbul Conference for Afghanistan: Security and Cooperation in the Heart of Asia”.
She noted that the conference will be co-chaired by Afghanistan and Turkey and will include Afghanistan’s neighbors and other key regional partners./UNN/agencies
