Pakistan News/Lahore: The Pakistan Railways ex-employees want on protest against government due to lake of funds of their pensions, E Pakistan News Reported.
All retired employees of Railways gathered outside of the bank where they collected their monthly pensions but shortage of funds they pension have not received.
One pensioner Mahmood Khan, 68 years old die on the spot.
The situation of the Railways department is very critical, near about 80 % trains unable to provide their services including passenger and loaders.
In all stations of the country just 80 to 100 trains carried passengers’ one place to other location.
Pakistan Railways still doing loss and not have enough funds to continue their department, fuel for trains and some major station electricity also disconnected.
On the other hand, now Railways unable to distribute their pension since two months, now the retired pensioners go on protest against railways.
Majority of pensioners plus 70 years old they demands to the government to their pension because the Eid-ul-Azha is coming of days.
In this gathering, near about 1500 pensioners who are not received their dues since six months.
Protesters gathered around country including Lahore, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Multan, Quetta, Sukkur, Faisalabad, Sialkot and Sargodha participate in the protest.
