BISP FATA Officials face difficulties of People

Latest News/Bajaur: Senior trainers and other officials of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Bajaur Agency, Aurangzeb Inqelabi, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Ayaz, Serajudin, and Sultan Akbar have said that the government was fully aware of the difficulties being faced by the people in FATA, E Pakistan News Reported.

That is why the government had expedited the development process in the area. In this regard the Benazir Income Support Programme is launched to eradicate poverty.

They told this to a number of elites, maliks, elders in during door to door survey in different areas of Bajaur like, Mamond, Utmankheel, Khar, Sadiqabad, Nawagai etc ereas, while they monitoring their teams performance.

The elites, Maliks and elders insure them their full support, and insure them that people of the area are fully aware and provide their full co-operation in filling BISP forms.

The elders added that BISP teams are going door to door to guide, aware and educate the people about the importance of survery.

The BISP officials of Bajaur insured them that BISP was started for the welfare of the poor people and the theme of the programme was to eradicate poverty from the country and to empower women.

He said that a large number of poor families are benefiting   from BISP and after the completion of the poverty survey more families would enter the BISP social safety net..

Regarding the poverty survey, Bajaur BISP concerned said that the survey had been completed in Dir as well as a few other districts. He said that the survey process will completed in Bajaur as well as in the other tribal area by the next future.

He said it was the first poverty survey in the Pakistan’s history to calculate the country’s poverty level.

BISP Bajaur officials said that, in Waseela-e-Haq Programme soft, interest free loans of Rs 300,000 were given to eligible and poor families after a computerized draw to allow them to conduct their own business.
