Loadshedding would be end in next 2 days

Pakistan News: Minister for Water Naveed Qamar and Power Syed Naveed Qamar assured that loadshedding would end within two days, E Pakistan News Reported.

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani ordered the Ministry of Finance to instantly release the pending amount to PEPCO for payment to Pakistan State Oil (PSO) to make certain full supply of fuel to thermal power plants on Monday.

Prime Minister chaired a emergency meeting to review the power cuts in the country in Prime Minister house, Mr. Gilani directed the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources to ensure reinstatement of full supply of fuel to the power plants including the KAPCO and HUBCO.

The Prime Minister Gilani said the reinstallation of the fuel supply would help relieve electricity shortfall in the country by generate additional 2000 Maga Watts to lower the shortfall.

The meeting analysis energy protection measures and the Prime Minister Gilani directed the Minister for Water and Power to call the provincial governments on board to finalize an operational strategy.

Taking a fast decision to control the damage caused by the unabated energy shortfall in the country, the government directed the Finance Ministry to immediately release Rs.11 billion to Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) to overcome the ongoing power crisis.

The meeting would be arranged soon to determination unscheduled loadshedding in the country.
