Bajaur News: The PESCO has increased the duration of load-shedding from 21 to 22 hours and low voltage has disgusted people of Bajaur Agency across the Head Quarter Khar in general and far flung areas in Particular, E Pakistan News Reported.
“The far remotes areas like district Utmankheel, district Salarzai, district Barang are hard effected of the consistent and hours long power outage.” Prominent tribal elder Haji Moahmmad Kheel said.
He added that PESCO had not taken any practical steps so far to overcome the crises of electricity shortage in the country.
Aurang Zeb Inqelabi said that power cut for prolonged hours increased problems of citizen of College Town area due to non-availability of electricity.
“The power load-shedding is a significant issue because of its daily impact on the average Pakistani” said Journalist Masood General Secretary Bajaur Press Club.
He added that PESCO claim that the shortage will be overcome by the end of the current year. But until then, there does not seem to be any light at the end of a very dark tunnel. In Bajaur the load-shedding has multiplied the miseries of the citizens while unscheduled power load-shedding has causing massive menace for the people.
It is reported that tubewell operators have also complained to their higher authorities that a number of tubewells installed in various areas of Bajaur also were not working properly and unable to pull water from the soil which is causing inconvenience for the masses.
All Bajaur Private and Gov`t schools are opened, students and teaching staff has been suffering due to prolong load-shedding and high temperature since last three months.
