Lower Dir suicide attack; 38 killed

Latest News / Lower Dir – At least 38 people were killed and several others were wounded in a bomb attack at a funeral in “Sadbar Kalay” village of Lower Dir on Thursday, E Pakistan News Reported.


Lower Dir suicide attackSenior Police Official Salim Khan Marwat told newsmen that about 20 people were killed and 47 other wounded on the occasion when explosive device blast in a huge sound. He added that the blast appeared to have been a suicide attack.


Now the toll death reaches as 38 died.


According to initial reports, the blast was a suicide attack which targeted the funeral prayers of a tribal leader in the Samarbagh tehsil village Sadbar kalay about 40 kilometers away in the north east of district Head Quarter Temirga.


It is reported that Bakh Zaman, who was died in an accident on the Islamabad-Peshawar motorway on Wednesday, in his funeral prayer a large number of people were present on the occasion when a suicide bomber blew himself at once. Yet no anyone or group accepted the responsibility of the incident.


It is also reported that wounded people were rash to nearby hospitals for treatment, and many others refer to Peshawar Hospital.


Local Hospital sources said they have received 15 bodies out of which only 10 have been identified. The large number of people visiting hospital for searching their beloveds.
