Pakistan / Sports News – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) hired the former test batsman Ijaz Ahmed as a Assistant Coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team, E Pakistan News Reported On August 19, 2011.
Ijaz Ahmed, 42 years old former Pakistan test batsman has scored 3315 in 60 test matches. He also made 12 centuries before retirement. He is also famous for his hard and best hitting. He is also well experienced in One-Day International (ODI), he played 250 ODI and his run in ODI 6564 including 10 centuries.
Ijaz Ahmed also will go with Pakistan upcoming Zimbabwe tour next week. He is appointed the request of the Management team of Pakistan.
Pakistan team will leave the country for Zimbabwe on 25 August for One Test Match, two Twenty20 and Five One Day Internationals.
Pakistan Cricket Board also changed the National Team Management for Upcoming tour, Manager Intkhab Alam Replaced with Naved Cheema and Aaqi Javed and Shahid Aslam on the coaching staff.
Naveed Cheema, who is also a member of the leading board of Cricket, disclose that the Pakistan team’s image had taken a defeat because of scandals the last one year and half but uttered assurance that things would work out progressive.
Naveed Cheema Told that he is in no doubt that things will work out well now in the team because lines have been tense clearly for the players and officials; everyone has know about his responsibilities and educated that there will be no negotiation on regulation at all.
